We are Iki and Dr Chris, a Brighton-based wife and husband team with over 30 years of experience in healthcare between us.
In our careers as a pharmacist and a doctor, we have developed the key attributes that enable us to provide all of our patients with a medical aesthetics experience that is of the highest quality.
Our Story
Noaem Skin started life as Aesthetic BTN and was founded in 2019 by us – Iki and Dr Chris. We are a husband and wife team based in Brighton and Hove. We have a young family and love the vibrant Hove community in which we live and work.
Iki is a clinical pharmacist and Dr Chris is a medical doctor. Between us we have over 30 years experience in healthcare. We feel this has provided us with many attributes that we bring to Noaem Skin that enable us to provide a clinic experience that is of the highest quality.
We entered the medical aesthetics field focusing on traditional injectable treatments such as Botox and fillers. However, in a world where cosmetic treatments are overdone and facial features are changed beyond recognition, we felt uncomfortable and unwilling to comply with the general approach of carrying out whatever treatment a client requested. Did this put us on a back-foot to start? Probably, but ethics over income has been firmly rooted in our practice. We were happy to make our stand.
As time went on, we naturally evolved into a cosmetic skin health clinic, favouring skin treatments that improve the health, condition and appearance of your skin before embarking on injectables.
The industry has inevitably evolved with us and the development of more regenerative skin treatments naturally piqued our interest. Beautifully natural results evoking compliments all around are our goal for you and regenerative aesthetic medicine has allowed us to achieve it.
This is why Aesthetic BTN has become Noaem Skin – Cosmetic Skin Health and Regenerative Aesthetic Medicine Clinic.

Medical Aesthetics Practitioner
Ms Iki Rhode BSc(Hons) PGCert MRPharmS IP
Iki is a prescribing pharmacist with a number of postgraduate qualifications and over 20 years of clinical experience within hospital, community and general practice settings. She is a UK medical professional, fully registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and is also a member of the Royal Pharmaceutical Society.
Iki is our Skin Specialist. As a clinical pharmacist, her knowledge and understanding of how skin care treatments and products work is second to none. She understands the intricacies of how products are formulated and how that relates to results for your skin while also cutting through manipulated statistics frequently used in the marketing of products.
She carries out our Advanced Facials, Chemical Skin Peels, SkinPen Microneedling Skin Remodelling, Radiofrequency and Mesotherapy treatments with absolute passion and perfectionism.
Dr Christopher Vary MBBS BSc(Hons)
Chris is UK-trained medical doctor, having qualified from St George’s, University of London in 2012. He is fully registered with the General Medical Council with a license to practice medicine in the UK.
Chris has a background in anaesthesia and critical care. His training in a heavily procedure-based medical specialty has provided an ideal platform for the transition into injectable treatments for medical aesthetics. He is experienced in the critical appraisal of both drugs and equipment, ensuring that only the highest grade products and equipment are used is our clinic.
