Skin boosters are injectable treatments used to improve hydration and the quality of the skin without adding defined facial volume. At Noaem Skin, we use Redensity 1 across the face, neck and décolletage, including the skin around the mouth where dehydration and superficial creasing contribute to the concern.
Redensity 1 is a fluid formulation that is placed within the skin to support moisture retention and soften the appearance of fine surface lines. The result is a subtle improvement in the condition of the skin rather than a change in facial structure.

How Redensity 1 works
Redensity 1 contains non-cross-linked hyaluronic acid at 15mg/mL. Its fluid consistency allows it to disperse within the skin rather than remain as a defined pocket of volume. Hyaluronic acid attracts and retains water within the tissue, helping finely creased skin appear smoother and less depleted.
The formulation also contains eight amino acid, three antioxidants, zinc, copper and vitamin B6. These ingredients support the environment of the skin while the hyaluronic acid improves hydration and surface quality.
Redensity 1 is used to improve the condition of the skin, not to create projection ir alter facial contours. The effect is temporary, so an initial corrective course is normally followed by maintenance according to how the skin responds.
WHAT REDENSITY 1 MAY IMPROVE
Redensity 1 is most relevant where dehydration and superficial skin qualiaty are the main concerns. It may be used alone or within a wider plan when collagen loss, sun damage or repeated muscle movement also contribute.
Dehydrated or depleted-looking skin: It can support hydration where skin appears flat, less supple or finely creased.
Fine lines and superficial creasing: It may soften surface lines linked to dehydration, but will not correct deeply etched lines or changes caused mainly by muscular movement.
Skin around the mouth: It can form part of a mouth and lip plan when superficial creasing and dehydration are present.
Perimenopausal and menopausal skin: It may help when hormonal change us contributing to dryness, fine creasing and reduced resilience.
Neck and décolletage: Treatment focusses on hydration, fine lines and general skin condition rather than structural change.
THE TREATMENT
The skin is cleansed before topical anaesthetic cream is applied. Redensity 1 is then administered through a series of small injections across the selected areas. The pattern and amount are adapted to the conditions of the skin rather than following one fixed protocol.
Small raised areas, redness or tenderness can appear immediately afterwards. These effects usually settle as the product disperses.
No specific skin preparation is usually required, although relevant medical history, medications and previous injectable treatments will be reviewed. Treatment may be postponed if the skin is infected, inflamed or damaged.
After treatment, avoid touching the areas unnecessarily and keep the skin clean. Do not apply make up for at least 24 hours. Raised areas normally settle within several hours but can remain visible for one or two days. Bruising is possible, so plan around important events. Written aftercare advice will be provided.
Redensity 1 contains 0.3% lidocaine local anaesthetic. Tell us about any sensitivity to lidocaine or other local anaesthetic before treatment.
Temporary redness, swelling, tenderness, bruising and raised injection pints can occur. Less commonly, prolonged swelling, infection, inflammatory reactions, nodules or changes in skin colour may develop. Rare vascular complications are possible with any injectable treatment. Iki and Dr Chris will assess suitability and explain risks relevant to the proposed areas before treatment.
Some patients notice improved hydration after the first treatment. The more useful change develops across the corrective course as treatment is repeated at three-week intervals.
Skin may appear smoother, more suppler and less finely creased, but Redensity 1 dies not alter facial contours. Results are temporary and vary with the condition of the skin, the areas treated and individual response. A maintenance treatment every four to six months is generally recommended.
