Detailed discussion, clinical examination, medical review and Observ520x imaging allow Iki to establish what is happening before recommending treatment or changes to your skincare.

Why the consultation takes 90 minutes
Time to understand the whole picture
Skin rarely changes for one reason. Medical history, medication and hormonal change may all be relevant, alongside sun exposure and what you have previously tried.
The 90-minute appointment gives Iki time to listen, examine your skin and explain the findings without moving prematurely to treatment recommendations. You can ask questions and understand which approaches may help, as well as those unlikely to add enough value.
What happens during the consultation
The appointment begins with a detailed conversation about your concerns and how your skin has changed. Iki will review your current routine and anything in your medical history that may affect the skin or suitability for treatment.
Your skin is then examined and photographed using the Observ520x. Iki reviews the images with you before discussing suitable treatment or skincare options. You are not expected to choose a procedure from a menu or make an immediate decision.

Seeing the skin under different forms of light
The Observ520x uses several light modes to examine pigmentation, sun-related changes, redness, vascular patterns and surface texture. Some of these features may be less apparent under ordinary light.
The images support the clinical examination and provide a record that can be referred to over time. The scanner does not diagnose conditions or make treatment decisions. Iki interprets its findings alongside what you have explained about your skin and her examination.

The Noaem Skin Consultation with Report
90 minutes | £145.00
Includes the same consultation and recommendations, followed by a comprehensive written report.
The report contains your Observ520x images, Iki’s analysis and the recommendations discussed during your appointment. It is usually sent by email by the following day.
£50 of the consultation fee is redeemable against treatment.
Choose this option if you would find a detailed record useful for future reference.
Who the consultation is for
The Noaem Skin Consultation is for anyone who wants to understand their skin before deciding what to do next. It may be especially useful if several concerns overlap, previous approaches have not produced the expected result or conflicting advice has made it difficult to know what your skin needs.
It can also provide a starting point when your skin changes during perimenopause, when planning treatment ahead of an important event or when establishing a longer-term approach to its care.
You do not need to arrive with a diagnosis or treatment in mind. There is no obligation to proceed with any recommendation.
Frequently Asked Questions
Ideally, arrive with clean skin and without make-up so that the examination and Observ520x analysis can begin without delay. If make-up needs to be removed at the clinic, micellar water will be provided. The skin will then be allowed to settle before imaging begins.
No. The appointment is for discussion, examination, imaging and treatment planning. This gives you time to understand and reflect on the recommendations before deciding whether to proceed.
No. Iki recommends products according to what she believes is suitable for your skin. Recommendations may include products from brands that Noaem does not stock. Samples are usually provided when appropriate products are available.
The report includes your Observ520x images, Iki’s analysis and a detailed record of the treatment and skincare recommendations discussed during the consultation. It is normally sent by email after the appointment.
Both options include exactly the same 90-minute appointment, examination, imaging and recommendations. Choose the consultation with report if you would like the images and recommendations recorded in detail for future reference.
£50 of either consultation fee can be used against subsequent treatment at Noaem. Iki will explain which treatment route is appropriate before anything is arranged.
